Lake Tenkiller Harbor is a lakeside resort community on Lake Tenkiller located in southeastern Oklahoma. It is approximately 22 miles from Tahlequah and 32 miles from Muskogee, Ok in Cherokee county, on Indian road. Lake Tenkiller is considered one of the prettiest lakes in Oklahoma with approximately 130 miles of shore line.  It is a clear water lake that opens the door for scuba diving and many other water sports.

The Lake Tenkiller Harbor development is a property owners association consisting of versatile habitation ranging from weekend camping to permanent living. Lake Tenkiller Harbor offers a quiet, family-oriented recreational area in a natural setting with an abundance of trees and wildlife, but still close enough to neighboring towns to have easy access to grocery shopping or dinner at a resturant.

The development is surveyed into individually owned lots as a sub-division resting in the hills on the west side of the lake.  It features 2,180 lots with a common recreational area that includes a 65,000 gallon swimming pool, restrooms, showers, picnic park, kiddie play ground, tennis court, and a community center.  For boating and fishing, it has a county owned boat dock that is accessible from the community.  The voting membership of the Property Owners Association (POA) is estimated to approach 1,500 members. The association is guided by a Board of Directors that operate from a set of By-Laws and Restrictions to provide a guide for all members.  For more information on Lake Tenkiller and the surrounding area go to the  Tenkiller Lake Central website or the Lake Tenkiller Area Visitors Guide.
