Property Description:

Conveniently located near the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, this iconic nightclub is ready for use with tables, chairs, vintage neon lighting, and a small but fully functioning kitchen. There are six bars and a large seating area to accommodate a crowd. There is also outdoor seating in “the corral,” with a small stage and a bar. The indoor main stage is 20’ x 40’ with professional lighting and sound system. The sound booth and DJ booth are located in the club's center.

The club has multiple rooms for offices and a spacious green room to accommodate performers. There is ample supply storage and a large walk-in cooler. The building has a maximum occupancy of 900 guests and 2.4± acres for parking.

During WWII, this property and the surrounding area were used by Doolittle’s Raiders as their training and staging area. Shortly after the war, it was converted and opened as the Skyline Supper Club, which then became the Southeast’s most iconic nightclub known as the Skyline Club. It is a gigantic nightclub best known for its huge dance floor and live music; many renowned national artists have performed there.

The site occupies five tax parcels and has frontage on Lee Street, Quartermaster Street, and Miami Street. The nightclub building and a small adjoining tract are on tax parcels 05634-05-002 (1.3± acres) and 005634-05-004 (0.1± acres) in the V formed by Lee and Quartermaster Streets. Abundant parking exists on the three roughly rectangular lots across Lee Street (005634-03-001 on Lee Street, 005634-03-007 at the corner of Lee and Miami, and 005634-03-008 on Miami Street), comprising 2.4± acres.

All utilities are available to the site, including electricity and natural gas (provided by Dominion) as well as water and sewer (supplied by the City of Cayce). The property is zoned ID (Intensive Development), the least restrictive zoning class in Lexington County, allowing everything from residential to mobile or tiny homes to military uses to industrial parks. The zoning ordinance is posted on our website; you are strongly advised to read the ordinance regarding prospective uses and to call Lexington County Planning and Zoning at 803-785-8121.
